Alright.. got things started a bit.. Got all the PDF’s downloaded and local (so I don’t have to rely on the net).
Got all the reference images down, and all the textures (as posted in the reference thread)
And I’ve got my backgrounds setup for the first part.. now time to start laying out the points!!!

Okay folks… this is the leading post on my journey through the tutorial that is Serenity.
I’m a pretty big fan of the show, I’d even say I’m a brown coat.. However, not being fully versed in the 3D work I’ve not been able to get any thing made that is worthy.
I came across this tutorial, I know it’s old, as I was revisiting my sites I used to visit. And I was like.. YEAH! we are going to try that.. so this is journal of the wild ride that is me trying to make a complex model, with very little exposure to LW.
A couple notes:
- This tutorial, I do believe, was created in 2005, however I’m using LW 9.3.1 for this
- It seems to use VertiBevel quite a bit, however I’m going to try and use native tools to LW
- I may not have alot of time to work on this, but I’ll keep this thing going as long as you are watching
Thanks everyone…. so off we go.. Look for the first post (with any good content) Thursday of this week!!
